Water Channel on Jalan Zamrud Kemayoran Dredged

The 55 meter water channel on Jalan Zamrud, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta is dredged by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management. The project is targeted to finish by the end of this month.

Head Section of Maintenance for the agency, Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, admitted the effort is done since the channel can not function well because of blocked by dry mud.
“The project has been started since Wednesday (6/8) ago. It is hoped to complete in the next two weeks,” he said, Sunday (6/12).

According to him, the channel will be widened by 80 cm and deepened by 80 cm. His side deploys 18 personnel of the agency.
“Sheet pile installation has reached 15 meter out of 55 meter,” he closed.
